Description
J-B Weld Ultimate Grey Gasket Maker & Sealant is an RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanized) Silicone gasketing material designed for use in mechanical assemblies where higher torque or closely spaced bolt profiles can lead to higher loads and cause gasket and sealing failures for average silicones. Upon curing, which occurs when the product is exposed to the moisture in air, the silicone forms a tough, waterproof, gasket and seal on most surfaces. It will not shrink or crack, resists oil and petroleum products, resists weathering, is sensor safe, has good temperature resistance up to 500º F intermittent and is great for many automotive applications.

- Application: Fast-curing formula. Sensor-safe, low odour, noncorrosive. Fills gaps of up to 0.25″ when fully cured. Retains high flexibility, oil resistance properties through use of a patented adhesion system. Temperature resistance up to 700°F, Resists common fluids and excessive vibration.
- Notes: Improved oil resistance, Sensor safe, non-corrosive, good adhesion & flexibility, replaces most cut gaskets, can be used as a gasket maker or dressing, non-flammable, non-toxic, low odour.
- Notes: Setting time of 1 hour before final torque is applied. Curing time of 24 hours before excess gasket maker can be removed.
