Engine Blocks

Engine Block machining & preperation for Standard engines, Street and Strip performance & Purpose built Racing engines.
Precision machining of petrol & diesel engine blocks using modern Rottler and Sunnen boring & honing equipment.
Line boring and line honing is available to straighten and accurately size the main tunnel to provide a bearing surface that will ensure optimum bearing crush & heat transfer for cooler, longer lasting bearings.
Cylinder blocks are indexed from the pan rails on In-line blocks & the pan rails & main bearing tunnel on 60° & 90° V-blocks for total machining accuracy.
Cylinder sizing & surface finish meet or exceed specifications required by piston ring manufacturers to ensure proper bed in & minimise oil consumption.
Special bore finish is used on all High Performance Racing Engines requiring Torque plates & Plateau honed finish.
