The Chev 383 HP2 Ready2Run engine includes a fully machined, blueprinted & balanced long motor, including Dart Iron Eagle heads.

Dyno’d, Run-in and ready to install!

• Product Line:    Complete Engines
• Condition:    New – Dyno’d and ready for dispatch
• Block Work:    Hot tank cleaned, crack tested, sonic tested, main tunnel line honed, decks machined to zero deck height & true to crankshaft centre line, bored & plateau honed with torque plates, notched for clearance for new crankshaft, cam bearings fitted, core plugs & cam plug fitted.
• Crankshaft:    New 9000 series crankshaft, balanced and linished.
• Con-Rods:    New Scat I-Beam rods, balanced and size checked.
• Heads:    Dart Iron Eagle heads, surfaced for correct chamber size, valve seats machined with special contoured profile & mild ported to suit 2.020″ stainless steel intake valves & 1.6″ stainless steel exhaust valves, assembled with New valve springs, retainers, collets and corrected spring pressures.
• Pistons:    SpeedPro Power Forged alloy pistons.
• Bearings:    ACL main, Big-end and camshaft bearings.
• Camshaft:    1622 Crow camshaft – 230-230 duration, .480″-.480″ lift, 110° Lobe Separation.
• Valve Springs:    7333 performance single springs.
• Valve Train:    New crow cams lifters, valve springs, retainers, collets, positive valve seals, pushrods & timing set.
• Timing Set:    Crow double row roller chain with new cnc gears.
• Oil Pump:    New Melling high volume oil pump.
• Harmonic Balancer:     Powerbond Steel Race balancer.
• Fasteners:    ARP cam bolt kit, Balancer bolt, Oil pump stud, main & head bolts and stainless steel accessory bolt kit.
• Core Plugs:    Brass core plugs.
• Ignition:    Autolite Spark Plugs, MSD Ready to Run distributor, MSD Blaster 2 coil & MSD lead set.
• Intake:    Dart dual plane manifold, Edelbrock chrome air filter & Brawler 670cfm mechanical carb.
• Cooling:    GMB brand short water pump.
• Oil:    Fleetguard oil filter, Tritech lubricants running in oil.
• Rocker Covers:    Edelbrock polished alloy rocker covers.
